Early Bird Registration for Aftermarket eForum Ends Today

This is the final day to register for the 2004 Aftermarket eForum at the early bird discounted rate. The Aftermarket eForum, which takes place Aug. 2-4 at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare in Chicago, is the only e-conference exclusively focused on the automotive aftermarket. The eForum is the industry’s largest supply-chain technology event for aftermarket e-business decision makers.

GAAS Scholarships Awarded to 145 Students

The Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) continues its work to ensure a strong future talent pool for automotive aftermarket companies and service outlets through its highly successful scholarship program. A total of 145 students will receive $1,000 GAAS scholarships in 2004, with the majority of recipients entering automotive vocational-technical programs, which will help address the critical shortage of automotive technicians.

Online Registration Opens for NACE 2004

Online registration for the 2004 International Autobody Congress & Exposition (NACE) is now open. NACE 2004 will be held Nov. 3-6 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week (AAIW). Attendees can register online for the NACE Exposition and AAIW shows (SEMA and AAPEX), and also receive an early discounted NACE Congress Package (good until July 14th).

Over the past eight years, appearance/body accessory products have shown the largest growth of any product group in the industry, increasing 96.4 percent. Following closely is custom wheels, with performance chemicals in third place.
