NGK Unveils New Climatically Controlled AWD Dyno
NGK Spark Plugs hosted an open house yesterday at its Wixom, MI, facility to celebrate the grand opening of the company’s new $3 million all-wheel-drive dyno, housed in a climatically controlled chamber. Dynos are fairly commonplace in a state as automotively focused as Michigan, but the fact that this one combines a four-wheel-drive dyno with a climatically controlled chamber makes it unique. In fact, there is only one other dyno chamber like it in the state.

NGK Promotes Richard Sullivan to VP of Sales and Marketing
NGK Spark Plugs (USA), Inc. has promoted Richard Sullivan to the position of vice president of sales and marketing. Sullivan, a 28-year veteran in the aftermarket, has been with NGK since 1985 and previously served as general manager and director of sales and marketing. In his new role, Sullivan will oversee sales and marketing functions for the NGK OEM, OES, Aftermarket and NTK Cutting Tool Divisions. He replaces Hideyuki Koiso, who is returning to Japan to assume the position of general manager – overseas sales and marketing.
