From From Tire Review
AKRON, OHIO — Susan Arnold, vice chair for global beauty care at Procter & Gamble, is leaving the board of directors of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.
Goodyear said Arnold’s departure was due to her “increased responsibilities at Procter & Gamble.” Arnold, who joined the Goodyear board in 2003, has been with P&G for 24 years, and was named by Forbes magazine as one of the 100 most powerful women in the U.S.
In other Goodyear board news, the tiremaker has yet to name a United Steelworkers of America member to its board, as promised in its current master contract deal with the USWA, which was finalized in September 2003.
