Omnitek Holds Third Annual Users Group Conference

MISSION VIEJO, CA — Omnitek Information Systems and 21st Century Graphic Technologies recently held their third annual user’s group conference Aug. 10-12 in Irvine, CA. The goal of the annual conference was to inform users of the changing trends in the automotive aftermarket and their impact on the companies’ newly developed systems and methods.

At the conference, Omnitek Information Systems and 21st Century Graphic Technologies introduced their new product line while also providing a setting for user’s to interact and ask questions about the future direction of the automotive aftermarket.

Among the speakers featured at the event were top industry specialists from Activant (Doreen Slayter, Ario Eftekhari); MOTOR Information Systems (Kevin Mullen, Phil Cunningham); R. L. Polk & Co. (Mike Gingell, Pete Ruggirello); Power Systems (LeAnn Fisher); Wrenchead (Ron Larson); and Swatee Systems (Ganapathy Subramaniam). Attendees were encouraged to share their concerns and ideas concerning their respective fields.

The presentations provided information from the vantage points of different specializations, such as how the Omnitek Module utilizes vehicle population data for automotive, industrial and Latin America, OEM research information, OEM compression for paper catalog, AAIA ACES and PIES data for a comprehensive product line to supply to eCat providers.

Commenting on the conference, Gary Nix, director of marketing and product management for Goerlich’s (AP Exhaust), said: “I think there was an excellent assortment of speakers and plenty to learn.” Other companies in attendance included ZF Trading North America, International Brake Industries and Melling Engine Parts.
