LIVERMORE, CA – Washington, D.C.-based automotive parts distributor Olympus Imported Parts is the latest to adopt Activant’s Cover-to-Cover graphical eCatalog technology, according to the company.

Olympus, which operates four warehouses serving more than 2,500 automotive service accounts across Northern Virginia, has been a longtime user of the Activant Ultimate business operating system and PartExpert eCatalog. According to Olympus Vice President Bill Guinard, the company invested in Cover-to-Cover to help its 32 counter professionals optimize customer satisfaction through fast, error-free service.

“It’s becoming increasingly important on many applications to be able to see exactly how a component is configured in order to select the right replacement,” said Guinard. “Our continued growth depends on our ability to employ, train and support the region’s best counter staff. We believe Cover-to-Cover will help our team save a tremendous amount of research time and legwork, with the net result being a superior customer experience.”

Introduced in 2004, the Activant Cover-to-Cover eCatalog technology is currently in use at more than 800 North American automotive parts counter positions.
