OBITUARY: Earl Knoper, Former Toyo Exec, Dies

Previously, Knoper worked for Goodyear, Firestone and Montgomery Ward over his 41-year tire industry career.

DEWITT, Mich. — Retired Toyo Tire USA Corp. executive Earl Knoper, 67, passed away on June 12.

Knoper served as vice president of the company before retiring in 2005 after a 21-year career with Toyo.

Previously, Knoper worked for Goodyear, Firestone and Montgomery Ward over his 41-year tire industry career.

After leaving Toyo, Knoper served briefly as the president of SCCA Pro Racing, and as a consultant with Toyo. He had recently moved to DeWitt, Mich., with his wife, Jan. (Courtesy of Tire Review/Akron)

Brent Fletcher MAHLE Head of North America Aftermarket Regional Sales

MAHLE Aftermarket announced the appointment of Brent Fletcher as head of regional sales in North America, effective May 13, 2024.

In this role, Fletcher will oversee the sales and strategic growth of the portfolio of MAHLE Aftermarket solutions, which includes the CLEVITE and BEHR brands. Utilizing his sales background, Fletcher and his team will work directly with production engine rebuilders, retailers, traditional distributors, shop owners and technicians throughout North America to provide them with access to the premium solutions and training services, according to the latest press information.
