Dan Jondron passed away peacefully on Friday, November 2, 2012, in Hawaii after a long battle with head and neck cancer.
Highly regarded and well-known in the specialty equipment market, Jondron was owner of Advanced Digital Strategies, an e-marketing and traditional marketing provider since 1999. He was a frequent speaker at aftermarket industry events, and an expert in technology, e-marketing and e-commerce.
He taught e-marketing and technology topics in Japan, Australia and across the United States and Canada for SEMA, other trade organizations and private companies since 1995. He led the e-marketing panel at the Aftermarket eForum for a number of years, and was a founding member of the Business Technology Committee at SEMA.
Jondron also previously owned Phoenix Auto Restoration from 1988 to 1991. He began building websites for automotive enthusiasts in January of 1993, a few days after the launch of the first Web browser.
