Northwood Students Prepare to Host 59th Auto Show

North America’s largest outdoor new car auto show will take place Oct. 7-9 in Midland, Michigan.

By Pietro Vitale

Northwood University takes pride in being not only a primarily business-oriented school, but also for the many specialty programs that are offered to students, such as the Automotive Marketing and Management Program and the Aftermarket Automotive Marketing and Management Program. Students in these automotive-focused programs take part in first-hand experiential learning that stretches far beyond the classroom.

The biggest way students take their knowledge beyond the books is at the Northwood University International Auto Show (NUIAS), which is North America’s largest outdoor new car auto show. Not only is NUIAS the largest new car auto show in North America, but it is also 100% student-run. Around 400 university students are responsible for the unique and creative displays of each brand as well as forming and maintaining relationships with OEM brands and aftermarket companies from nearly every segment of the industry. Each year, the weekend show welcomes around 50,000 spectators of all ages to Northwood University’s beautiful campus in Midland, Michigan. Take the opportunity to experience the show for yourself October 7-9.

At this year’s show, more than 30 automotive aftermarket vendors will be on display, including major aftermarket manufacturers, distributors, local repair facilities, engine builders, detailers and car washes, and major retailers. Current and prospective students will have the opportunity to network with industry professionals at the VIP Panel on Oct. 7.

Looking for ways to get your company involved in the fun? Show sponsorships start at $250 for your company logo to be displayed and exhibition opportunities are still available for your products to go on display!
