Dr. Nash announced the appointment of Automotive Aftermarket department Chair James John to serve as interim director of the University of the Aftermarket as the university conducts a national search for a new full-time director to replace Jimsey Keith, who previously served in this role. In addition, the university is seeking the input of industry leaders as it undertakes a periodic review of its undergraduate curriculum, finalizes the content of a new Aftermarket MBA (to be delivered in 2008), and works with the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA) and other organizations to improve and advance the University of the Aftermarket offerings with an increased emphasis toward online programming.
The University of the Aftermarket will be offering much of its new programming in the new Sloan Family Building for Aftermarket Studies, slated to open on Northwood’s Michigan campus in March of 2008.
