Niterra North America Inc. (formerly known as NGK Spark Plugs (U.S.A.) Inc.) announced the appointment of Hemant Damani as Director of Information Technology. Damani, a Niterra associate for over two years, will lead the Information Technology function and manage the infrastructure, technologies, and data that enable digital transformation.
Damani will also use emerging technologies to contribute to the company’s business strategy, according to Ron Laboda Niterra, vice president of finance and IT.
With over 20 years of experience in the automotive sector, Damani also leads a Cyber Security Think Tank and is an Executive Council member of the Business Technology Council, which is part of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA).
