Newsweek Names ‘Most Responsible’ Auto Components Companies

Companies including BorgWarner, Cooper Standard, Valvoline, SMP, Dorman and Dana made the list.

Multiple automotive aftermarket companies have been named to Newsweek’s “America’s Most Responsible Companies for 2024” list. This year, the magazine recognized automotive component manufacturers as part of its list. Companies including BorgWarner, Cooper Standard, Valvoline, SMP, Dorman and Dana made the list. PPG also made the overall listing for the fourth year in a row.

Each year, Newsweek’s “America’s Most Responsible Companies” list highlights the top 600 companies in the United States for their commitment to environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG).

The selection process for the 2024 list involved a comprehensive review of public performance data in various ESG categories, as well as a survey of 17,000 U.S. residents regarding their perceptions of corporate social responsibility. Companies were chosen from 14 different industry subcategories, with thousands considered for inclusion.
