ACC IMPACT Award Program Accepting Nominations

The IMPACT Award is a tribute to those who exemplify outstanding leadership, creativity and commitment to advancing automotive communications, the ACC said.

The Automotive Communications Council (ACC) is accepting applications for its ACC IMPACT Awards program through April 30, 2024.

The inaugural ACC IMPACT Award celebrates exceptional automotive communications achievements, spotlighting individuals “whose pioneering work and innovative spirit have profoundly influenced the industry.”

The ACC IMPACT Award stands for Innovation, Mastery, Partnership, Achievement, Communication and Transformation. It recognizes individuals who have excelled in their roles and significantly contributed to the automotive communications landscape. Whether through groundbreaking campaigns, innovative strategies, or influential leadership, the recipients of this award have left an indelible mark on the industry, according to the ACC.

Eligibility Criteria:

The IMPACT Award is open to professionals from all automotive industry sectors, including marketing, public relations, advertising, and more. Nominees are not required to be current or former members of the ACC.

Nomination Criteria:

Nominees for the ACC IMPACT Award are evaluated based on their:

  • Innovative Approach: How they have introduced new ideas, strategies, or technologies to the field.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: They lead by example, inspire their teams, and mentor the next generation of automotive communications professionals.
  • Contribution to Industry Growth: They advance the automotive communications sector and contribute to its overall growth and success.
  • Recognition by Peers: Achievements and accolades received from colleagues and industry peers.
Nomination Process:

Complete the nomination form with the nominee’s details, your contact information, and a brief description of why they should receive this honor. Be sure to highlight their achievements, contributions to the industry, and any other information that showcases their impact.

Key Dates:

  • Nomination Deadline: April 30, 2024
  • Finalists Announcement: May 10, 2024
  • Award Presentation: The recipient of the ACC IMPACT Award will be announced and honored during the President’s Breakfast at the ACC Annual Conference on May 21, 2024, at the Hyatt Regency Cleveland At The Arcade.
