BETHESDA, MD — The Car Care Council Women’s Board has announced that NAPA Belts/Hose has committed to sponsoring the 2005 Women’s Board activities at the silver sponsorship level.
“We are very pleased to become a sponsor of the Women’s Board,” said Dave Wheeler, marketing communications manager at Gates Corporation. “Because women make up more than two-thirds of aftermarket consumers, we believe in the mission of the Women’s Board.”
“I’d like to extend my sincerest thanks to Dave Wheeler for the NAPA Belts/Hose sponsorship of the Women’s Board,” said Jennifer Tio, president of the Car Care Council Women’s Board. “This donation is appreciated because it will help support our many activities throughout the year.”
The Women’s Board offers three tax-deductible sponsorship levels: Platinum ($5,000), Gold ($2,500) and Silver ($1,250). These sponsorship dollars cover all of the activities of the various Women’s Board committees, including: consumer education, with special emphasis on female consumers, expanded scholarship program for women, recruitment and retention of women into our industry, development and maintenance of women.carcare.org, industry support, articles and educational materials, research projects and public relations activities and automotive communications awards and reception.
