The Women’s Board awards annual scholarships to female students studying to enter the automotive aftermarket. These young women come from all across the country, applying for two types of scholarships: one for high school seniors who plan on attending an ASE-certified post-secondary automobile technology program, and one for students who have completed one year of an ASE-certified post-secondary automotive technology program, to complete their education.
All applicants must have a GPA of 2.5 or higher, letter of recommendation from their respective schools, and community or extracurricular involvement. Additionally, they must provide an essay on the importance of their scholarship to their overall education. The top technician scholarship is presented each year at the WB reception at Industry Week, in Las Vegas, Nev.
