Multi Parts Announces SPARK 2018 Initiative

SPARK 2018 is a three-day industry immersion, delivering student participants a front row seat to experience the business of the automotive aftermarket.

Multi Parts announced its SPARK program for 2018 will again take place during AAPEX, being held at the Sands Expo from Oct. 30 to Nov. 1, in Las Vegas. The brainchild of Multi Parts Chairman Barry Cohn, and now in its fifth year, SPARK 2018 is a three-day industry immersion, delivering student participants a front row seat to experience the business of the automotive aftermarket.

“Each year that we are able to connect more talented young people to the industry icons in manufacturing, distribution and the associations, is a win for the aftermarket,” said Cohn.  “When they see our industry presented on full display at AAPEX, they really get it and want to be a part of it. That’s the power of SPARK.”

Cohn added, “We encourage everyone in the aftermarket to help spread the word about SPARK to schools in their area so we can all benefit from the diversity our country offers. We’ve developed a brochure which can be shared with administrators or directly with students interested in a career in the aftermarket. I urge you to click the box below, save the brochure, and use it to help us build a stronger industry.” (To view the brochure, click here.)

Qualified applicants must be students interested in ownership, management, product development, cataloging, pricing, marketing, sales, logistics and other core business activities situated in the automotive aftermarket, including finance, information technology and human resources.

“We continually work to ensure that we, the Cohn family and Multi Parts, remain true to our core purpose. We are focused exclusively on the business of the aftermarket and the students who truly want to pursue careers within the industry,” said Cohn.

Students may apply at spark.multiparts.net/apply. Applications must be received by May 18.
