EL PASO, Texas MSD Performance has named Alexandra "Alex" Loeza as product marketing coordinator.
Loeza, who has worked at MSD since 2003, will be in charge of managing and supporting MSD’s Dynaforce alternator and starter product line. MSD recently expanded its entire line of Dynaforce products to include a new alternator line and an expansion of its starter product line. Additionally, Loeza will assist with the management of MSD’s event marketing initiative. This initiative primarily focuses on the use of event marketing trucks that attend key racing and street car enthusiast events.
"As we continue to expand our product offerings to our consumer enthusiasts, it is important that we support these product lines with educated, qualified and passionate personnel," said Manny Grijalva, vice president of marketing and sales at MSD/Racepak. "Alex has been exceedingly successful with every challenge we have given her over the years. She is one of our most valuable employees and we are very excited to see the mark she puts on this new challenge."
Loeza started at MSD in the accounting department more than 10 years ago. Her responsibilities at MSD have progressively increased through the years and she most recently held the position of marketing specialist. Loeza gained key analytical and financial skills while employed in the accounting department and has enhanced her marketing skills in her most recent position. In her most recent role, her responsibilities varied from show planning and coordinating to new product process development to market research. Loeza is a member of the SEMA Young Executives Network and has highly developed skills in project management, market research, sales analytics and trends, event marketing, market segmentation and consumer behavior analytics.
Loeza is a graduate of the University of Texas – El Paso with a bachelor’s degree in business, with a focus in marketing and finance. She recently received her master’s degree with a concentration in marketing from Devry University, Keller Graduate School of Management. Loeza also comes from a family of car enthusiasts who also drag race at local drag strips on the weekend.
