Mopar’s Pat Muldoon to Lead Vehicle Development for Venchurs’ New Specialty Vehicle Division

Muldoon brings two decades of engineering high-performance vehicles to guide vehicle development at Venchurs Vehicle Systems.

ADRIAN, Mich. – Automotive warehousing and logistics company Venchurs Inc. has announced Pat Muldoon as the newest addition to its Michigan-based team. As Vice President of Product Development Engineering for Venchurs Vehicle Systems, Muldoon will lead the development of new vehicle programs including high-profile image vehicles, limited production buzz model specialty programs, commercial fleet trucks and QVM alternative fuel solutions.

“We are beyond thrilled to welcome Pat to the Venchurs team,” said Jeff Wyatt, CEO. “Pat’s resume is impressive — his experience, skills and passion for building high-performance, special edition vehicles are a perfect match for our continuously expanding line of specialty vehicle programs here at Venchurs.”

As the former senior manager of product development engineering at Chrysler’s Mopar Divison, Muldoon has more than 20 years of progressive product engineering experience, building some of the brand’s most well-known show cars and concepts. One of his favorite projects was leading development of Mopar’s Jeep Wrangler Blue Crush, a jaw-dropping machine that combined high-speed off-road prowess with rock-crawling finesse.

Muldoon has had a hand in developing many of Mopar’s most iconic and creative vehicles like the V-10 Drag-pack Challenger and the equally impressive desert conquering Mopar Ram Runner. Other key accomplishments include the Mopar JK-8 Independence conversion package that converts a four-door Wrangler into a two-door pick-up and launching the limited edition Mopar 2010 Challenger.

“The opportunity here at Venchurs is a dream come true,” said Muldoon. “At Mopar I had the chance to build amazing vehicles with the support of a great team. Now, I can continue that quest to build the very finest vehicles with a dream team in my hometown of Adrian, helping put people to work in my own backyard.”
