MOOG Product Line Grows By Nearly 50 Part Numbers In April

The new MOOG parts cover more than 100 million potential service opportunities spanning a broad range of late-model North American, Asian and European passenger vehicles.

Federal-Mogul Motorparts, a division of Federal-Mogul Holdings Corp., has added 48 new part numbers, to the MOOG line of steering and suspension parts, driveline components and wheel hub assemblies. The new MOOG parts cover more than 100 million potential service opportunities spanning a broad range of late-model North American, Asian and European passenger vehicles.

MOOG - New Part - SolverIncluded among the 21 parts are a front upper ball joint (K100315) for nearly 1.8 million Dodge Ram 1500 (2006-‘08), 2500HD and 3500HD (2003-‘10) and 2500 and 3500 (2011-‘16) models; front suspension strut mount (K160336) for more than 1.1 million Honda Odyssey (2011-‘13) and Pilot (2009-‘15) vehicles; and front alignment camber/caster plate (K100326) for approximately 19.6 million Cadillac, Chevrolet, GMC and Hummer light trucks and SUVs ranging from the 1999 to 2016 model years.

The MOOG chassis component portfolio also now includes the aftermarket’s first front upper ball joint (K100316) for more than 2.2 million Dodge Ram 1500 trucks, model years 2006-‘16; idler arm (K40018) for 2011-‘15 Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD and GMG Sierra 2500HD and 3500HD trucks; and rear coil spring set (81609) for the Buick Enclave (2008-‘12), Chevrolet Traverse (2009-‘12), GMC Acadia (2007-‘12) and Saturn Outlook (2007-‘10) SUVs.

Other high-volume service opportunities now covered by MOOG include front upper ball joint replacement (K500259) on 2011-‘15 Ford F450 Super Duty trucks; replacement of front lower ball joints (K500239) on Hyundai Sonata (2011), Tucson (2010-‘13) and Kia Sportage (2011-‘13) models. The company also introduced several additional MOOG R-Series control arms and assemblies, including front right lower (RK622212) and front left lower (RK622213) assemblies for nearly 426,000 Chevrolet Blazer (2001-‘05) and S10 (2001-‘04), and GMC Jimmy (2001-‘05) and Sonoma (2001-2004) models.
