Messe Frankfurt Joins Forces With The C3 Group To Develop Connected Mobility Conference

Connected Mobility will be comprised of a two-day conference featuring six keynote presentations and 13 panels, a pre-show opening reception and a closing connected and autonomous car vehicle ride-and-drive track day.

Connected-Mobility-HiRes-LogoMesse Frankfurt is joining forces with The C3 Group to launch the first Connected Mobility – The Future of Transportation Conference. The conference will take place Oct. 26-29, at the Santa Clara Convention Center, Santa Clara, California. On Oct. 29, The C3 Group will host a track day for connected and autonomous vehicle demonstrations at Laguna Seca Raceway in Monterey, California.

The C3 Group drives the conversation on the connected car and future mobility through carefully curated content and events, and by consulting with key OEM and industry thought leaders to help navigate the increasingly complex intersection of transportation and technology, the company says. The C3 Group also provides timely news and analysis through the C3 Report, and business and technology reporting through the Connected Car Council.

“As a thought leader in the connected car and mobility market, we are excited to join forces with Messe Frankfurt to deliver a world-class event on the future of transportation,” said Doug Newcomb, president and founder of The C3 Group. “As a follow-up to The C3 Group’s Silicon Valley Reinvents the Wheel event in 2014, this partnership gives us another opportunity to bring thought leaders from automotive, technology, research, policy and media to discuss and demonstrate how technology is transforming transportation.”

Connected Mobility will be comprised of a two-day conference featuring six keynote presentations and 13 panels, a pre-show opening reception at the Levis San Francisco 49ers stadium and a closing connected and autonomous car vehicle ride-and-drive track day at Monterey’s Mazda Laguna Seca Racetrack. The inaugural event will include top leaders from eMobility, iMobility and sustainability discussing current and future strategies, new developments and government policies.

“The collaboration between our organization and The C3 Group is an exciting one. Our combined experience ensures the success of our event, Connected Mobility and its ability to provide a platform in which industry leaders are able to move the automotive industry forward through discussion, forecasting and the analysis of trends,” said Dennis Smith, president, Messe Frankfurt Inc.

Christopher Barker, lead connected car/transportation technology consultant of The C3 Group, added, “With the global connected car market expected to reach $141 billion in revenue by 2020, this is great opportunity to partner with Messe Frankfurt to bring our leadership experience in connected transportation to markets around the world. We look forward to working with Messe Frankfurt and the global transportation and technology community to shape and influence this next generation of personal mobility and transportation options.”
