MEMA Announces Second Sustainability Workshop

Suppliers will be able to assess their current position and identify investments required to be more ESG-focused.

The second of two Sustainability Workshops hosted by the MEMA Center for Sustainability will be held on October 18 at MEMA’s offices in Southfield, MI and virtually on Zoom.

Laurie Hoose and Mark Barrott from Plante Moran will take members through two modules. The first, a Supplier Self-Assessment Model, will allow participants to assess their current position and identify the investments required to be more proactive in collecting, analyzing and reporting out ESG disclosures. The second module, Beyond Compliance, will look at how ESG should be integrated into a firm’s strategy and operations to drive cost reduction and other efficiencies and improve business performance.

This workshop is geared toward executives and professionals responsible for sustainability and ESG.
