The MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Supply Chain & Operations Forum announced the appointment of Brian Blouin, group leader – supply chain management at Schaeffler Group USA, Inc., as its newest Executive Committee member.
In this role, Blouin will serve as a representative of the general membership of the council, actively contributing to the development of solutions to industry issues and promoting the benefits of the Forum to both new and existing members, according to MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers.
The Supply Chain & Operations Forum (SCO Forum) serves as a vital venue for members to learn about and discuss challenges related to the procurement of raw materials and components, in-bound and out-bound movement of goods, logistics, shipping, labor, packaging, warehousing, robotics, and more.
Blouin brings diverse experience to the Executive Committee, with 17 years in supply chain management, MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers said. His background includes roles in industrial/aerospace manufacturing, automotive assembly and the automotive aftermarket. Blouin’s professional journey has taken him to five different states and a short stint in Europe.
