Melvin Foust of Kring’s Auto Wins CARDONE’s “Go Green” Sweepstakes

CARDONE's "Go Green" Sweepstakes was organized to promote the benefits remanufacturing offers the environment.

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. — On Feb. 7 Melvin Foust, owner of Kring’s Auto in Johnstown, Pa., won a brand new Vespa LX 150cc scooter from CARDONE’s “Go Green” Sweepstakes. At Kring’s Auto, Foust offers undercar care services and state inspections for all vehicles. He also offers jack and hydraulic repair. Foust said he was “surprised but excited” to win the Vespa and marked it as the “brightest part of this winter.”

CARDONE’s “Go Green” Sweepstakes was organized to promote the benefits remanufacturing offers the environment. CARDONE saves approximately 54,000 tons of cores from scrap yards every year. By recycling and reusing materials once considered trash, CARDONE helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions with every A1 CARDONE product purchased.

In addition to their environmental benefits, A1 CARDONE parts are economical as well, says the company. A1 CARDONE remanufactured parts are typically 30 percent to 50 percent below the cost of new parts and perform just as well.
