Melling Returns To AWDA Meetings With Expanded Product Portfolios

Over the years, Melling has made acquisitions, expanded its product lines and says it has worked to position itself as a viable alternative supplier to the AWDA members.

Melling has announced it will return to the Automotive Warehouse Distributors Association (AWDA) meetings this November in Las Vegas.

“We are back with more,” said Mark Melling, president and CEO. “Over the past few years Melling has become an OE supplier of water pumps and has expanded our offerings and competitiveness on the other core engine parts lines. Now is the right time to showcase what our team has been accomplishing.”

Over the years, Melling has made acquisitions, expanded its product lines and says it has worked to position itself as a viable alternative supplier to the AWDA members. Vice President North American Sales, Laura Short added, “Our rich history, brand name and expansion of quality products gives distributors an extensive assortment of solutions to market to their customers.”

While at AWDA and AAPEX, Melling will be launching its new water pump program, which includes direct import and pumps assembled in Jackson, Michigan, according to Jeff Sandt, vice president of Aftermarket Water Pumps. “The aftermarket installer research conducted and sales of our (proof of concept) pumps have shown that the professional installer wants USA quality and content in the water pumps they purchase,” said Sandt.

AWDA meetings take place Nov. 3-4 at the Venetian Resort in Las Vegas. Click Here for more information on the meetings.
