CHANTILLY, VA — Kevin McIntyre, CEO of Walker Air Brakes, was recently selected to be the chairman of Automotive Parts Remanufacturers Association’s (APRA) heavy-duty brake division.
Walker’s Air Brakes has been in business since 1953 and was purchased in the late 1980’s by the McIntyre family. McIntyre has been involved with the business since 1987.
On assuming the chairmanship, McIntyre stated, “I have an interest in improving our remanufacturing industry by addressing and seeking solutions to common problems we have as businessmen.”
The heavy-duty brake division of APRA will meet on Jan. 23, 2006 in conjunction with the Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week to be held in Las Vegas.
