Matrix System To Host ‘Artists 4 Education’ Silent Auction At SEMA

Auction to benefit the Collision Repair Education Foundation.

WALLED LAKE, Mich. – Collision repair specialists, vehicle refinishers, shop owners and automotive enthusiasts attending the SEMA Show in Las Vegas have the opportunity to participate in the Artists 4 Education Silent Auction, hosted at Matrix System‘s booth (No. 11025).

The mission of Artists 4 Education is to raise money for the Collision Repair Education Foundation and promote collision repair education awareness. It involves the expert skills of the automotive industry’s top artists across the country.

In addition, with the participation of various industry partners such as SATA, Airbrush Action, Anest Iwata, Dedoes Industries, Dorn Color, Miller Electric, Finding Better Solutions and Pro-Spray Finishes, various items were donated to help support the cause. Custom painted items up for auction range from vintage gumball and popcorn machines to garage stools and spray guns to surfboards and skateboards.

“Our first annual Artists 4 Education campaign has been a huge success within the industry so far and is beginning to pick up speed as we head into SEMA," said David Brunori, president of Quest Automotive Products. "I have been reaching out to organizations that have benefited for many years from the PBE industry for additional support. It is our responsibility as industry participants to support the Collision Repair Education Foundation. The sole purpose of this endeavor is to raise awareness to the growing shortage of certified technicians entering into the collision repair industry – it is that simple. The artist community is stepping up in a big way and I am humbled by the commitment of these individuals."
