Lubrication Specialties Hires Retail Marketing Specialist

Hollie Maxymillian is tasked with reviewing all current Hot Shot’s Secret distribution.

Lubrication Specialties Inc. (LSI), manufacturer of Hot Shot’s Secret, the fastest-growing performance lubricant brand in the U.S., has announced the addition of Hollie Maxymillian, a veteran automotive retail marketing specialist, to serve as the company’s new Hot Shot’s Secret product manager.

The all-new marketing position was filled in April to ensure Hot Shot’s Secret’s branding presence for the company’s 35-plus products is leveraged across multiple channels – direct, online and retail, including national and international sales. Reporting to LSI President Brett Tennar, she is tasked with reviewing all current Hot Shot’s Secret distribution to ensure the product line is capitalizing on all retail advertising opportunities, co-op programs, shelf placement, in-store or ecommerce promotions, and to develop a strategy to develop retails sales through a robust omnichannel approach to broaden the reach to DIY and DIFM end customers.

Maxymillian began her 20-year marketing career working first as VP of marketing & client development with Katalyst Marketing Group, where she was responsible for marketing collateral including product incentive rollouts, loyalty programs and all advertising and e-promotions for multi-channel marketing campaigns. In 2015, she joined ITW Global Brands (Houston) as senior marcom manager and was soon promoted to advertising and marketing director where she was responsible for campaign development for multiple national and international brand accounts. Most recently, she has served as the senior channel marketing manager for Calumet Specialty Products (Houston), where she increased annual revenue, web traffic, engagement and brand awareness for the lubricant-based company year-over-year.

Tennar says, “We are very excited to announce this new position at LSI. In interviewing for the role, we were especially impressed with Hollie’s expertise in branding strategies, unique distribution tactics, ecommerce analysis and profitable campaign development for a broad range of products that are similar in scope to our product line – specialty oils, synthetic lubricants, performance brands and more. LSI has experienced incredible growth in a few short years with our flagship brand of performance additives and oils, and Hollie’s experience, business acumen and out of the box thinking is what we trust will help us build a more cohesive brand presence at retail and support our market share plans for growth worldwide.”

Maxymillian is currently working to complete a second business management degree from Grantham University and will be based from her office in Houston.
