POMONA, CA — LKQ Corp. has announced the promotion of three senior level team members. Eileen Sottile has been promoted to LKQ’s staff vice president of Government Affairs; Mike Smith has been promoted to associate vice president of the Keystone Midwest Region; and Arnie Kohorst has been promoted to vice president of LKQ/Keystone Paint, Body and Equipment (PBE) Division.

Since 1997, Sottile held the position as director of Governmental Relations with Keystone Automotive Industries. The newly created position, LKQ’s staff vice president of Government Affairs, will include the oversight of LKQ’s governmental relations at both the federal and state levels for the United States and Canada, and for all of LKQ’s lines of business, including both used parts as well as aftermarket product lines.
Smith has been with Keystone for 15 years and most recently served as Keystone’s regional manager and director of Industry Relations. As associate vice president of the Keystone Midwest Region, Smith will oversee the Midwest region which includes operations in Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.
Kohorst most recently served as the operating vice president of the Midwest Division of Keystone Automotive. Kohorst has more than 20 years in the PBE industry and will be spearheading efforts as the vice president of LKQ/Keystone’s Paint, Body and Equipment Division.
