CLEVELAND, Ohio The Lincoln Electric Co., exclusive and official welding partner of the Second Annual IX Piston Power Show, will present a special appearance by auto designer Chip Foose. Foose is the owner of Foose Design, a three-time top hot rod Ridler Award winner and star of the hit TV show, "Overhaulin’," which airs on TLC Network. Foose is also an avid Lincoln Electric equipment user and has designed graphics for the company’s VIKING auto-darkening welding helmets.
Foose will appear on the main stage at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1, during the I-X Piston Power Show at Cleveland’s I-X Center. He also will participate in a “Chip’s Choice” competition, selecting his favorite pick of vehicles at the show.
As the exclusive and official welding partner of the show, Lincoln Electric will showcase its products designed for the consumer/hobbyist market at its own booth and during special how-to demonstrations throughout the event. Lincoln Electric will offer special reduced prices for orders placed during the I-X Piston Power Show.
Dubbed a “Celebration of Speed,” this motorsports extravaganza fills the massive I-X Center with various specialty vehicles, including custom and classic cars, motorcycles, power boats and historic aircraft. The show is billed as the “largest indoor showcase of cars in Ohio under one roof.”
