LDN Holds Successful Fun Walk & Run, Raises Money for GAAS Scholarships

LDN will award three $1,000 scholarships this year.

BETHESDA, Md. — The Leadership Development Network (LDN) held its annual Fun Walk & Run May 6 during the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association’s Spring Leadership Days at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood, Fla. The Walk & Run, which included almost 30 participants, consisted of a two-mile walk on the beach or a three- to five-mile run toward Hollywood Beach Boardwalk.

The purpose of the LDN Fun Walk & Run is to raise money for automotive scholarships through the Global Automotive Aftermarket Symposium (GAAS) scholarship program. Generous support from companies in the aftermarket industry allows LDN the ability to continue the tradition of encouraging individuals, through education, to enter and stay in the automotive aftermarket industry. LDN will award three $1,000 scholarships this year.
