MIDLAND, Mich. The largest class in the history of the University of the Aftermarket Leadership 2.0 program assembled Sunday on the Midland, Mich., campus of Northwood University for nearly a full week of intensive learning, problem-solving and networking activities. Leadership 2.0 is the aftermarket’s cornerstone educational program for next-generation industry leaders.
With a record 30 participants representing every level of the aftermarket value chain, the incoming class began its work with a Sunday evening convocation ceremony in the rotunda of the University’s Sloan Family Building for Aftermarket Studies. Featured speaker was Roger McCollum, president and CEO of N.A. Williams Co., who discussed the importance of relationships in the evolving aftermarket.
“Roger’s address was an excellent kick-off to what will be an intellectually challenging and very rewarding week for our participants,” said Brian Cruickshank, AAP, director of the University of the Aftermarket. “Our new class is clearly eager to begin their exploration of industry challenges and opportunities and the principles of effective leadership.”
