ADDISON, IL — KYB America LLC has named William “Mac” McGovern to the position of director of training. The announcement was made by Mike Howarth, KYB senior vice president.

McGovern has been a successful independent shop owner for more than 30 years and most recently has become a leading industry trainer and advisor, helping to develop the understanding and co-operation between manufacturers, distributors and service centers in order to improve business practices and better take care of the motorists’ needs. McGovern has also served as secretary for the Automotive Service Association of Illinois and as a member of the AMRA/MAP Uniform Inspection & Communication Standards Committees.

“Mac joins KYB America to lead the implementation of our new service center training program, named ‘Ride Control Solutions from KYB’.
