Korea’s Chosun Daily Names Halla Visteon Climate Control Leader To Top CEO List

VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP, Mich. – YH Park, president and CEO of Halla Visteon Climate Control Corp. (HVCC), a full-line supplier of automotive thermal management solutions, has been named one of Korea’s top CEOs by the daily news publication, Chosun Daily. This is the second consecutive year Park has been named to this prestigious list.

Candidates for this top honor were selected from companies with more than 1 trillion Korean Won in annual sales. Park was chosen based on combined increases in operating income and market capitalization in 2014, compared with the same time period in 2013.

Earlier this month, Park was named to the list of Top 10 CEOs in Korea by CEO Score magazine for management performance based on HVCC’s strong track record of growth, profitability, stability and employment. In July, Park received the Bronze Tower Order of Industrial Service Merit at the Global Green Excellence Award event hosted by the Korean Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, in recognition of his individual contributions and leadership in sustainable and environmental management.
