Kinedyne Announces Strategic Expansion of Sales Force

Sales engineer, account executives added to sales team.

BRANCHBURG, N.J. – Kinedyne Corp., a leading provider of cargo control products for the transportation industry, has expanded its sales force to further enhance the service and support offered to its customers. The company has announced the following new additions to its U.S.-based sales team: Todd Jenkins, sales engineer; Lisa Boyle, account executive for the government sector; and Gene “Buzz” Williams, account executive for the Southeast region.

In this newly created role, Jenkins will work directly with the company’s sales force throughout North and South America to provide application support and integrate feedback into the manufacturing process. A significant portion of his time will be spent working with original equipment manufacturers – as well as with end-users – on product design and installation enhancements as well as improved product solutions. Jenkins joined Kinedyne in 2004 as a manufacturing engineer. He is a key member of Kinedyne’s global engineering team – which includes staff and operations in both the U.S. and China – and is familiar with all aspects of the product development process. Jenkins is a resident of Alabama and is based out of the company’s Prattville, Ala., facility.

Boyle, who resides in Kentucky, will explore new opportunities in government and military sales channels in support of a rapidly expanding segment of Kinedyne’s cargo control business. Prior to joining Kinedyne, she spent more than 15 years in various sales related positions, including a recent role as an inside sales representative for Ancra International with emphasis on the government sector. In addition, Boyle recently held a similar position with General Cable Corp.

Williams will assume the open account executive position on the U.S. sales team created by the promotion of Terry O’Connor to his new post as national accounts manager. In his role, Williams will be responsible for providing product and sales support to Kinedyne distributors in the Southeast region. Before joining the company, he was an account executive at USF Holland Inc., where he developed sales territories and presented customers with a broad range of transportation solutions. A resident of Georgia, he also spent nearly 20 years in several positions at Yellow Transportation.

“As the market leader in load securement products, it is appropriate that Kinedyne has a sales team featuring the industry’s most talented professionals,” said Larry Harrison, Kinedyne’s vice president of sales and marketing. “We recently took some time to assess the needs of our diverse customer base with the goal of providing additional service upgrades while at the same time improving our relationships at all levels. Our new sales and operations structure – including the addition of these three individuals to our team – will help us further enhance the service we provide to all of our customers.”

Harrison adds that he is excited about the company’s newly expanded sales force and is confident it will have a powerful, combined impact on Kinedyne’s overall business, including an increased emphasis on the government and military sector.
