Keynote Speaker Announced for HDMA’s 22nd Annual Breakfast & Briefing

Keynote speaker Dan Sobic is executive vice president of PACCAR Inc., and began his career in the transportation and manufacturing industry more than 30 years ago at Tenneco Automotive.

RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. – The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association (HDMA) has announced that Dan Sobic of PACCAR will serve as keynote speaker for the 22nd annual Breakfast & Briefing. The event will be held from 7-9:30 a.m. on Friday, March 23, immediately preceding the opening of the Mid-America Trucking Show (MATS) in Louisville, Ky.
 
Sobic is executive vice president of PACCAR Inc., and began his career in the transportation and manufacturing industry more than 30 years ago at Tenneco Automotive.
 
Sobic joined PACCAR in 1990 as the Peterbilt national sales manager for PACCAR Parts. In 2003, he became vice president of PACCAR Inc. and general manager for Peterbilt Motors Co. Currently, he has corporate responsibility for Kenworth Truck Co., PACCAR Parts Division, PACCAR China and India and PACCAR Winch Division.
 
The Breakfast & Briefing was first held in 1990 and has sold out for the past 14 years, making it a popular event during show week at MATS. Registration for this year’s event is now underway.
