RANCHO SANTA FE, Calif. Elite Worldwide has announced that John Francis Jr., a past national chairman of the Automotive Management Institute, has joined the company as its newest business development coach.
In his new role with Elite, Francis will utilize his 35 years of experience as the owner of Francis Automotive Services to provide one-on-one business building guidance to other shop owners throughout the U.S.
For years, Francis Automotive Services, an industry-acclaimed full service auto repair shop in West Chester, Pa., has lead the industry in developing a child safety brand. Francis has been an Automotive Service Association (ASA) member since 1980, has served as the chairman of ASA CARS and was on the ASA Mechanical Division Operations Committee for a number of years. In 2001 and 2002, Francis represented ASA in Washington, D.C., where he gave demonstrations to members of Congress on the importance of providing repair professionals with open access to service information. These presentations were instrumental in the information availability agreement that was eventually signed between the ASA and the automobile manufacturers.
“Not only is John Francis an extremely bright and successful shop owner, but he is a longtime friend, and is very principle-centered. I’m proud to call him a member of the Elite family,” said Bob Cooper, president of Elite Worldwide.
