Intermet Promotes Anthony Lovell to Die Cast Group VP of Sales and Marketing

FORT WORTH, TX — Intermet Corp., a manufacturer of cast-metal automotive components, has promoted Anthony "Tony" Lovell to vice president of sales and marketing for the Intermet Die Cast Group. In this new role, Lovell’s duties will include complete business development responsibility for six manufacturing locations in three states, producing automotive components and assemblies. He previously held positions at Intermet as the director of sales for Aluminum Group and director of business development Powertrain and Commercial Vehicle Systems.

Before joining Intermet, Lovell spent 10 years with Citation Corp., where he held roles as account manager and as director of business development. He received his master of business administration degree in 2003 from the Broad Graduate School of Management at the Michigan State University in Lansing, MI, and his bachelor of business administration degree in 1993 from the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. He holds current professional memberships in the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA), Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) and the American Foundrymen Society (AFS).

Eric Showalter, president of the Intermet Die Cast Group, said, "Tony is a significant driver of Intermet’s rapid improvement in sales over the past year.
