CEDAR KNOLLS, NJ — Software solutions provider icarz has released version 2.13 of its PartsWatch single and multi-store part and tool distribution management solution. The release includes a new Pricing Server option, the first component of the icarz Enterprise Management Console centralized services solution slated for completion in 2005. Pricing Server enhances PartsWatch existing multi-store functionality with centralized controls that facilitate private or buying group pricing updates to multiple member stores simultaneously.
Other enhancements to this version of the PartsWatch system include expanded reporting capabilities and search/sort functionality. Detailed features include Advanced Shipping Notices (ASN) triggered by inter-store transfers; multiple catalog line codes for equivalents in alternate catalogs; specialized reports for manufacturer/distributor rebates, manufacturer sales and purchases; user definable transfer account numbers; enhanced invoice searches; enhanced inventory sorting capabilities; and improved formats for POs and manifests.
“Pricing Server is highly efficient for owners of multiple stores, marketing – buying groups, co-ops, and warehouse distributors,” said Jim Morsillo, vice president of aftermarket sales at icarz. “Updated pricing information is instantaneously available at point of sale workstations in all member stores without distribution of disks and no disruptive down-time in stores.”
icarz is committed to delivering cost effective focused solutions for their rapidly growing customer base in the automotive and hardgoods markets. Sanjay Apte, executive vice president summarized by saying, “Our open architecture solutions provide communications with any other open warehouse management or accounting systems and tight integration with industry standard catalogs.
