HOFFMAN ESTATES, Ill. I-CAR has announced the appointment of Robert Humpal to the position of Market Development Analyst effective immediately.
Humpal will report to Joyce Kasmer, I-CAR director of marketing and will be responsible for data mining and statistical analysis/modeling to identify key touch factors that influence and/or predict customer behavior. He will be accountable for collecting and analyzing market segment and industry data to support strategic planning. His role is critical in providing I-CAR fact-driven data on market needs, which will ultimately help the promotion of I-CAR products and services. Humpal will be a key leader in analyzing ‘Voice of the Industry’ data, which is necessary to collect and assess to provide the industry the training it demands.

Humpal brings more than 15 years of market research experience to I-CAR with proven skill in developing business plans; including forecasting market demand, customer profiling and product design and launch. He has completed Six Sigma Green Belt training. Humpal has also been part of product rationalization teams in the past which worked to reduce redundancy and make logical consolidations of product offerings.
Most recently, Humpal was a sales and marketing analyst for OfficeMax, Inc. He has an extensive automotive background as he held several marketing and research positions with Chicago Rawhide (SKF) and Everco Industries (Moog Automotive).
Humpal holds a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. He also holds a MBA with a concentration in marketing.
