I-CAR Adds NHTSA, IIHS, CAR And Bosch Speakers To July Conference

Industry leaders will discuss key technology topics such as driverless cars and telematics on July 24-25 in Boston.

I-CAR announced that it has added speakers from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the Center for Automotive Research (CAR) and
Robert Bosch LLC to its 2013 Inter-Industry Conference July 24-25 in Boston.
 
Technology leaders will present key industry topics such as advancements in integrated vehicle safety systems, evolving vehicle-to-grid and vehicle-to-vehicle communications, driver and pedestrian safety, the impact of CAFE on vehicle design, and the potential for autonomous vehicles.
 
The speakers include:
 
• Nathaniel Beuse, associate administrator for vehicle safety and research, NHTSA
• David Zuby, chief research officer, IIHS
• Richard Wallace, director, Transportation Systems Analysis, CAR
• Dr. Kay Stepper, director, Driver Assistance Systems, Chassis Systems Control, Robert Bosch LLC
• Keynote, Reginald R. Modlin, director of regulatory affairs, Chrysler Group LLC
• Conference moderator, John McElroy, Autoline TV host and author
