BISMARK, ND — Hedahls Parts Plus late last week announced an agreement with Mann’s Automotive to purchase its six stores in North Dakota. The acquisition will bring Hedahls’ total number of locations in the upper Midwest to 22, with the Mann’s Automotive stores located in Minot, Williston, Crosby, Mohall and Garrison, ND. Hedahls’ existing store in Dickinson, ND, will be merged with the Mann’s Automotive store in Dickinson, under the Hedahls Parts Plus name.

Based in Bismark, ND, Hedahls Parts Plus is a regional distributor of auto parts, auto body paint and supplies and automotive service equipment. Hedahls was started nearly 90 years ago by Ed Hedahl. Today the company is a third-generation family business headed by President Dick Hedahl.

Mann’s and Hedahls have been partners in the Uni-Select USA auto parts network that serves this region, according to Hedahl. “This acquisition is a natural progression of that partnership,” he said.
