The Heavy Duty Manufacturers Association’s annual research study, “Heavy Duty Truck Maintenance in the USA,” is now available. The 2007 study is designed to be a reliable tool for trend analysis regarding heavy duty truck user repair factors, heavy duty truck use, changes in buying patterns and service work performance.
This year’s report has been expanded to include even more information and new sections include in-depth reports of international trade in motor vehicle parts and exports of used trucks. In addition, a survey of heavy duty distributors reveals characteristics of the supply chain relationships in the heavy duty aftermarket.
“Heavy Duty Truck Maintenance in the USA” was first published in 1978 and is the longest running study of the heavy duty aftermarket industry. Funding for the publication of the report is provided by the Educational and Research Foundation of MEMA Inc.
