ORLAND PARK, Ill. Sam Geist, of Geist and Associates Inc., will give the opening presentation at Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week 2013 (HDAW13). Geist’s presentation at the opening general session will kick off the four-day conference at The Mirage in Las Vegas, Jan. 21-Jan. 24, 2013.
Geist’s presentation, titled "Competing for Today – Building for Tomorrow: Strategies to Compete Successfully," was developed specifically to highlight current marketplace trends and strategies to assist industry professionals in making smart, competitive decisions and executing them today for continued growth tomorrow. The elements of his presentation compliment and exemplify the theme of HDAW’13, “Formula for Success Focus on the Future,” making it a solid kickoff for next year’s event.
Geist is known for being a speaker, author, consultant and facilitator, with clients who represent hundreds of organizations from across the globe, including industries and associations. He insists that asking the tough questions and answering them honestly is crucial to the well-being and future success of your company.
Geist’s insights stem from years of front-line business experience. He grew his single sporting goods store into a 15-store $40 million dollar a year national chain before he sold it to his competitor. He then opened a marketing and consulting agency, based on the full-service customer concepts he had honed in the retail arena and went on to learn an entirely new set of skills and experiences.
