INDIANAPOLIS HDA Truck Pride member Power Train Service announced three appointments to its core management team at its 2012 National Sales Meeting on July 20. This year’s theme was “Momentum”.
President Lyle Bass announced the appointment of John Wolff to store manager of the Indianapolis branch. With more than 25 years at Power Train Service, Wolff will play a vital role managing sales and operations at the Indianapolis branch.
Larry Higashi officially assumed the role of vice president, remanufacturing. Higashi’s primary focus will be implementing continuous improvement practices for the company’s five remanufacturing divisions.
Brandon Ford was announced as the new director of sales, adding to his role as marketing director. As Director of Sales and Marketing, Ford will provide leadership and direction to the company’s 41-person sales team in addition to managing the three brands operated by Power Train Service.
In noting the “Momentum” theme for this year’s event, Bass said, “Power Train chose momentum as the theme because many factors, both economical and operational, have placed our sales team in a position to see strong growth over the next 18 months. From an increased focus on vehicle service to the addition of multiple new product offerings, Power Train is launching forward, and we want our entire company feeling this momentum.”

Serving the Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, and Illinois markets, Power Train has 10 locations and offers installation services at seven locations, including a 24/7 truck shop in Indianapolis. Power Train specializes in repairing and rebuilding drive train components for heavy-duty vehicles and is authorized to service Allison Automatic Transmissions.
