Hankook Tire Extends ‘Great Catch’ Consumer Rebate Program

Consumers now have until June 30 to get money back on select tire purchases.

WAYNE, N.J. – Due to the overwhelming response from consumers and demand from dealers, Hankook Tire America Corp. has extended its baseball-themed ‘Great Catch’ Mail-in Rebate program until June 30 to consumers who purchase four select tires of any size from an authorized Hankook retailer. Consumers also have a chance to win a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro as a part of the promotion.

Consumers can receive up to $50 in cash back rebates on three of Hankook’s top performance products. The tires included in the rebate program are the Hankook Ventus V12 evo, the Ventus V4 ES and the Optimo H727.

“We received tremendous positive response to our Great Catch rebate program, so we decided to give it an extra inning,” said Bill Bainbridge, director of brand communications, Hankook Tire America Corp. “Our rebate program not only helps to provide tire buyers with top-performing, superior performance tires, but saves them money as well.”

Along with the rebate offer, consumers have an opportunity to enter a random drawing for a chance to win a new 2010 Chevrolet Camaro, no purchase necessary. On or about July 10, one lucky grand prize winner will be selected. Information about both the “Great Catch” rebate and car giveaway is posted online on the Hankook Tire America website at www.hankooktireusa.com/greatcatch.

“We’re confident in our product,” said Bainbridge. “We know that if you try Hankook, you’ll be satisfied and recommend Hankook tires to your friends. These promotions are simply added incentives to entice buyers.”

Hankook’s point-of-sale merchandising package for its dealers is being updated to reflect the extension and “Great Catch” promotional advertising in print, as well as national and local cable TV, will run throughout the extended consumer purchase period in June.
