Green Earth Technologies Expands G-OIL Line-Up with Re-Refined Solution

The re-refined solution, which was unveiled last week at AAPEX in Las Vegas, will be available in 2011.

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Green Earth Technologies has announced the addition of eco-friendly conventional/synthetic blend "green" motor oil in variety of weights, including 5W-30, 10W-30, 5W-20 and 15W-40 to its current lineup of bio-based full synthetic motor oils.

These formulations meet or exceed tests and requirements for API Service Classification (SM, ILSAC GF-4), the company notes.

The re-refined solution, which was unveiled last week at AAPEX in Las Vegas, will be available in 2011.

"Consumers in the know do view re-refined oil as a green option," says Jeffrey Loch, president and chief marketing officer. "Combining these items with our existing bio-synthetic product assortment enables us to penetrate both motor oil segments with a 2-tier better-best green solution, at two price points, while branding both under the G-OIL umbrella."

G-OIL’s re-refined synthetic blend motor oil will be priced competitively to conventional and other synthetic blend motor oils with a suggested retail price of $3.99 per quart, compared to G-OIL’s Bio-based Full Synthetic $6.99 price, that is priced comparable to other synthetic motor oils.
