RIVERSIDE, Calif. Green Automotive Co. has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Donald Murray as controller and senior vice president, global corporate finance, effective July 1.
Murray joins Green Automotive with more than 21 years of experience in the financial sector as well as with clean energy industries. Murray has an extensive background and network within the investment community, where he previously occupied the role of vice president of investment banking for Global Hunter Securities and subsequently a similar role for Pacific Ridge Capital. During his career, he served as director of finance for diverse companies such as LifeBase Advisors and KW Fund Management.
In recent years, he gained experience in the clean energy sector as director of finance for LiveFuels, an algae-based bio fuels company and as CFO for Global Clean Energy Holdings. In addition, Murray has an in-depth understanding of start-up businesses due to his time as CFO of Stored Value Exchange, a start-up technology platform, and CFO of Truli Media Group, a social media and e-commerce company. Murray holds an MBA in finance and international business from The Ohio State University and a BA in business management from University of Maryland. Murray served in the United States Air Force from 1988 to 1993 in Intelligence Operations.
