ZEELAND, Mich. — Gentex Corp. has announced the appointment of Ken Horner to vice president of quality. Horner brings 13 years of experience in electronics, program management and quality to his new position.
"We expect that Ken’s experience, along with his strong leadership skills and his proactive approach to quality, will further strengthen our Quality team at Gentex," said Fred Bauer, Gentex chairman and CEO.
Horner was previously director of quality, after spending several years as an electrical program manager.
"Ken’s ability to create an environment of collaboration and problem-solving will contribute to the continued high quality of our product lines," added Bauer.
Horner joined Gentex in 2004, after six years as a program manager at Johnson Controls. He is a veteran of the United States Army and earned a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Western Michigan University and a master’s degree in business administration from Grand Valley State University.
