Federated Auto Parts and Standard Brand to Again Hold ‘Dream Car Sweepstakes’

One lucky professional technician or counterperson will get the chance to attend a Mecum High Performance Car Auction with $15,000 in their pocket to spend on the car of their dreams.

STAUNTON, Va. – Ever dream of owning a muscle machine or classic car? With the Federated Auto Parts and Standard brand “Dream Car Sweepstakes,” one lucky professional technician or counterperson will get the chance to attend a Mecum High Performance Car Auction with $15,000 in their pocket to spend on the car of their dreams.

“Our ‘Dream Car Sweepstakes’ was a huge success last year, so we’re excited to team up with Standard for a repeat performance,” said Rusty Bishop, CEO of Federated Auto Parts. “This is a great example of our manufacturing partners working with us to develop winning programs.”

Participating Federated technicians and counterpersons will enter the “Dream Car Sweepstakes” to win an all-expense-paid trip for two to a televised Mecum High Performance Car Auction Jan. 27-30, 2011, in Kissimmee, Fla. Other prizes include Apple iPads and Dell Inspiron Laptops. In addition, Federated techs and counterpersons can qualify for a $50 Visa gift card by supporting Standard brand oxygen sensors, fuel injectors or ignition coils.
