SOUTHFIELD, Mich. – Consumers who plan on tuning up their vehicles this spring will be able to save as much as $40 through a rebate offer on Champion spark plugs from Federal-Mogul.

The “Save Like a Champion” rebate runs Feb. 25 through June 30. Consumers who purchase premium Champion Iridium spark plugs can receive a $2.50-per-plug mail-in rebate. Customers who purchase Champion Double Platinum Power and/or Champion Platinum Power spark plugs can qualify for a $2 rebate per plug, and Federal-Mogul is offering a rebate of 50 cents on Champion Copper Plus automotive spark plugs. Champion Iridium spark plugs are the smart choice for consumers looking for extremely long service life and who want to restore maximum engine performance and reliability, according to Federal-Mogul. Each Champion plug also is equipped with Federal-Mogul’s patented extreme fine-wire center electrode and V-trimmed ground electrode for ultra-sharp spark focus and increased engine efficiency.

Champion Double Platinum Power spark plugs offer exceptional performance in a full range of vehicle applications, the company says. Each plug features platinum on both the center and ground electrodes, which the company points out provides longer life and minimal wear. Champion Platinum Power spark plugs are an excellent performance and reliability upgrade for engines originally equipped with standard nickel/copper spark plugs and are a direct replacement on many late-model coil-on-plug engines, Federal-Mogul adds.

Federal-Mogul recently introduced a new online rebate redemption and tracking system that aims to make it easier for consumers to submit, track and receive their rebates. Leveraging the latest technology in reward redemptions, customers will receive ongoing email communication concerning the status and timing of their rebate reward deliveries. Customers now also have the benefit of reward choice: For a rebate of less than $15, consumers can receive either a check or direct payment to their PayPal account; for amounts of $15 or more, they can choose either a prepaid cash card or payment to their PayPal account.

Participants can visit www.ChampionRebate.com to register their purchase and redeem their rebate. (Rebate submissions must be postmarked within 14 days of purchase. See other offer restrictions at www.ChampionRebate.com.)
