Faurecia Named A 2016 Top Employer In The US

Top Employers Institute certifies Faurecia for achieving the highest standards of excellence in HR best practices, performance, training and development and company culture.

Faurecia - LogoFaurecia, one of the world’s largest automotive suppliers, has been recognized as a Top Employer in the U.S. by the Top Employers Institute, an independent organization that certifies employers around the world for excellence in the work environment they create for employees. Faurecia earned Top Employer 2016 certification in the U.S., France and Germany.

As part of the Top Employers certification process, Faurecia participated in a rigorous, multi-faceted research evaluation assessing employers in areas such as company culture, talent strategy, workforce planning, onboarding, learning and development, performance management, leadership development, career and succession management, compensation and benefits. To further reinforce the validity of the process, all answers were independently audited.

Faurecia was noted for its commitment to learning and development via programs offered at Faurecia University North America, its dedicated onboarding process for acclimating new employees, and the opportunities it provides employees to gain international experiences through employee exchange and travel. Through its “Being Faurecia” worldwide company culture initiative, Faurecia has also defined a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and workforce development.

“At Faurecia, we work very hard to foster a workplace that not only values engagement, professional development and employee empowerment across the organization, but also creates a stimulating environment for those looking to grow their skills in high tech trades, from advanced manufacturing to engineering to research and development,” said Adam Jeffries, vice president of human resources, Faurecia North America. “We are honored to be recognized for our efforts in creating a top workplace for our people, who include some of the top employees in the world.”

The annual, international evaluation undertaken by the Top Employers Institute recognizes leading global employers that provide excellent employee conditions, nurture and develop talent throughout all levels of the organization, and which strive to continuously optimize employment practices.

“Optimal offerings and HR best practices ensure that employees are able to develop personally and professionally,” said Top Employers Institute CEO David Plink. “This, in turn, enables companies to maximize organizational performance and attract and retain the best talent. Our comprehensive research concluded that Faurecia  provides an outstanding employee environment and offers a wide range of creative initiatives – from benefits and learning and development opportunities to well-thought-out career management programs – that are truly aligned with the company’s culture.”

The Top Employers Institute has been certifying employers worldwide for their excellence in HR best practices that advance the development of their employees since 1991.
